I took this photograph when I was 15 years old. It was probably my first organized shot with direction. I showed up at this 40 year class reunion. I rallied everyone together for this shot, I believe I used some sort of 2.0 megapixel Sony digi cam. I then setup a table and took orders for 8x10 prints. Charging from what I recall, $20 each. They were fascinated. Especially since i had printed a “preview” photo with what probably was the first model photo printer I had borrowed from my father. I took order forms, printed, and mailed each photograph myself.
Every single person bought one. I think after overhead charges of paper, ink, and postage, i made $850. I bought my first car a month later with the money.
